How to make clear tailights for
the second generation Escort
(or for anything else for that matter)
(compiled form numerous sources)

Here's what your gonna need:
1) a set of tailights(either the one already on or some spare ones)

2) some sort of clear glass, .093" plexiglass etc

3) some sort of glue (gorilla glue, rubber cement, glue gun etc)

4) spray paint can of white or silver or something that reflects

5) red reflective tape

6) round reflecter (for the brake lights)

7) glue remover

Here's what you do:

First oviously you wanna take the light off (if they're already on the car)

Then you wanna take and put some glue remover lens on it until all of the lens is gone. Or just bang the heck out of it until it's all gone.

Next you paint the whole thing (epcept whear the brake lights are) with the reflective paint, lay the reflective tape on where the brakes are.

Somehow attach the round reflecter where the acual brake light is goning to be. (not to sure on how)

Then heat up, form and attact the lens(or what ever your useing) to the tail light housing.

Then put 'em back on the car and go criusing and show 'em off

NOTE: I'm not responsible if you injure yourself, get pulled over for the lights, or you can't get it to work (hence it's a good to get some spares), or anything else that you mite encounter in the process of making these
