well we got the motor, we got a great deal from a good friend, we thought we were getting a 302 with a c6 tranny, ended up getting a 351w and a fmx tranny, no complaints here, this is the pics after its been cleaned and power washed
well now cleaning up a disasembly,
see it is a 351w, head numbers confirmed its a windsor from 77-78
now we put it back together i purchased all new gaskets, and a new eldenbrock high rise intake and 4 barrel carb"650 cfm", and hedman headers!!!!!! wow i cant waint to fire it up
well time to yank out the six "bye bye , you oil burning hunk of metal!"

well its in, but boy not much room, i cant imagine a big block fitting but they did!!!!

heres the only real big problem we ran into except for the few trips to the junk yard for little things, like linkage and water pump "fan pully"the tranny is a fmx and not made to mount on the c4 mount, if it was a c6 i heard all i had to do is turn it around but , we ended up fabricating a new one!
now heres some of the motor sitting in there before fire up and last minute peices! such as hoses, alternator ,electronics"wich this motor i just new enough to have a electronic ignition but not new enough to have any "tree hugger" emissions, what a fine polluter it is!"
