Well It seems as if I cant stop hitting shit in the road. I reciently hit a damm traffic cone in the number 1 lane of the freeway at like 70-75 MPH. I tried to avoid hitting it, but with no shoulder on the left, a car on my ass to the rear, and an Expedition on the right, I didn't have much of a choice but to hit the cone full force. I was able to slow just a hair, and move a bit to the left so I didnt take the full impace right in the center of the bumper.

I drug the cone undr my car about 10 miles down the freeway after hitting it. the entire underside of my car was covered in orange strings of melted plastic.

DAMAGE REPORT:
AC condensor - bent
Radiator - cracked
Lower radiator support - bent to shit
Main radiator support - broken lower mounting tabs
Air shield/router (plastic behind the grill) - completly gone
SVT lower grill - shattered all over the freeway
Passenger side SVT fog light - gone/ under my tire and deffently under the tire of the car behind me
SVT front bumper - broken needs to be repaired or replaced

Here are some pictures of the new damage to my car.

REPAIRS TO THE CAR HAVE STARTED
Well not really strated yet. I have a new radiator, A/C condensor and lower radiator support sitting in the garage. I have mounted a new bumper to test the fitment before paint, and I also got a set of new side skirts for the car that will be painted at the same time as the front bumper. I am still waiting on the body shop that did the last of the repairs to let me know if they can order my hood scoop for me. But, I am creating a stock pile of parts for the car in my garage now. My fog light just arrived the other day, and I have a new clutch and fly wheel being shipped as I type this out.

Here are a few pictures of the new bumper test mounted on the car. I have only test fitted the side skirts, and not actually mounted them, so you will have to wait and see them until they get painted.

The new bumper and side skirts are Froum Roush, I am trying to get the Roush hood scoop, but I think that the Mustang hood scoop will fit. I will post pictures once the things get painted.

I just took everythign to the paint shoup. And, because of Christmas and New Years, they are about a week backed up. I am going to have to wait until after the new year to get my body parts painted. Oh well the broken SVT bumper is back on the car for now so I dont have to take the Roush one off again once the paint shop has an opening.

Oh yeah I just added new tires too. I went up a size and what a world of differance it has made in the ride of the car. The new tires ar Yokahomma Avid V4S they have a soft sidewall, but I dont auto X so I dont care about that. The softer sidewall and more of it makes for a softer ride.

I have a Wings West Lip on it. But dont go ahead and buy one without knowing what your getting into! The bumper cost $300, not to mention tht you have to have it custom fitted to the SVT front end. Its made for only a ZX3 bumper. The custom fitting cost me about $150 and paint was around $200. Tommorow Im having it redone due to some screw bumps and the mold braking. I heard of others putting a Xenon lip on their SVT. Some just paint the rubber lip( first my harding it and fiberglassing over it) to match body color which looks really nice and clean. And last thing I've seen on an SVT is the Kaminari. I personally did the Wings West because No one else has it( which im kind of partial to) and also because i have the matching side skirts waiting to go on too. Good luck with whatever you do. But know that driving is much harder because any small ramp can scratch or rip off the front end. The rubber is much safer but yeah i agree, it doesnt look as good as if it were body colored.
