I have now cleaned and painted the T-5 out of a 95 Mustang. They have the longer input shaft which is nore suited for the II bellhousing, but you will still need a bearing retainer that fits into the crank for the pilot bearing. Other mods that will be required is to the transmission crossmember as well as to the shifter hole location. The entire length of the transmission and bell housing is 32 5/8" wich is about 1" longer than the RAD 4 speed transmission. The difference is in the length of the tailshaft so therefore the shifter will be further forward despite the entire unit being 1" longer.
