The Summer of 2007 has been spent putting the car back together and working out the kinks

The biggest difference in the overall appearance of the car in my opinion was the installation of the 2005 Mustang 16" x 7" wheels in conjunction with 2" spacer adapters.

These are photos using a flash indicating the reflective stripe that I placed along the bottom of the car. It is reflective black and therefore during the day, the car still has the normal lower black Mach 1 paint sceme appearance.

The above indicate the current state of the interior. I decided to go with a woodgrain Ghia dash and some alterations with the original chamois door panels from my 78 donor car. The trim on the woodgrain was in rough shape and I had changed it from the peeling chrome to the gold accents that you see. New carpets are going in. The seats were re-upholstered as well. No seat covers were available and I had these made up by a local guy who did a great job. The interior has been completed for the most part. I may go back to the brushed aluminum if a supplier is found for them.

The job is continuing. I am putting an aluminium intake and 4 BBl carb on sometime over the winter as well as trying to find a t5 for it.

Picked Up the 4 Barrel Carb and aluminum intake from an 83 GT. They cleaned up well and will be installed with the 5 speed this spring. (2008)

thanks for the comment. Nice Mustang II. My first "real" car was a 69 Grande as well, same color and everything. I got mine in 1985 so it was a little more used.
