The painting is continuing as I ready the individual parts. The engine is now running and the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain are ready to go. Attached are some pics of the progress. I was not happy with the wheels as the clear coat that I had sprayed last fall had clouded. I removed it and then sanded the wheels with finer and finer wet sand paper finally finishing with a wheel polish and wax.

The Car was taped off to paint the Mach 1 tutone. It came out with a little more gloss than i had hoped for. I plan on inserting a reflective black stripe along the lower tutone. It will not be visible by day, but at night it will reflect a silver colour. The doors are also being undercoated with a fine oil based undercoating before they go back together. attached are a couple of the picture from the inside of the door as well.

thanks for the comment. Nice Mustang II. My first "real" car was a 69 Grande as well, same color and everything. I got mine in 1985 so it was a little more used.
