Car is now back home and rebuilding has started. This car is not being designed or intended to be simply a show car and therefore steps are being taken to ensure that it will last. The following pictures show the seam sealing completed on the interior of the car and underneath. I then used truck bed liner kits to spray the interior/floor and cargo area as well as the undergear of the car. It has taken about six weeks of block sanding and priming to get the panels where I want them. i used a flat black as a glide coat to point out where there may be any imperfections in the lines on the panels. I have started the repainting. I have chosen to paint the car in pieces and then re-assemble the vehicle. It is being painted a Sorrel green, base coat clear coat with 3 coats of base colour and 4 coats of clear. Once the car is reassembled, I will repaint the entire outer shell if the repainted panels do not match for any reason, or get marked during reassembly. The transmission and Bell housing have been cleaned and painted in a silver base/clear coat. The brake and fuel lines have been replaced as has the callipers and master cylinder.

thanks for the comment. Nice Mustang II. My first "real" car was a 69 Grande as well, same color and everything. I got mine in 1985 so it was a little more used.
