This is an Original GM of Canada Documented 1965 L79 COPO Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe 1 of 23 made and is concidered to be the original Canadian Pontiac GTO. It was sold at Lowes Motors Ltd. in Chatham,Ontario Canada. It has a 327-350HP, L79 engine, Muncie M-20 4-speed, 12 Bolt rear axle,and a in the dash tach. Of the original 23 L79's that were built in 1965, our research says only 6 still exist. I own a 2 this one and one that is in the process of being restored & should be completed in the fall of 2006.
