The engine was in its death throws, the interior stunk like a cheap motel in the summer and that front bumper was hideous!
First I yanked the engine and tore it down. While I was waiting for parts and machine work, I stripped the interior and presure washed everything including the headliner and especially the carpet and padding. Once it was running, I drove it out to my scrap iron pile and torched the bumper off. I refurbished the lights and later mounted them on a functional grill guard of my own creation.
The gantry crane in position. Interior parts out of position.

This truck was flood damaged at one time. There was still mud under the carpet padding.

Some sheet metal behind the driver side door had been replaced. It was obvious with the interior out because the replacement metal was black instead of silver like the rest of the cab.

This is my pile of engine after taking the block, crank and piston assemblies to the machine shop.

Echo chamber.(of horrors)

The reserected engine on the hoist. :)
