Alright, for anybody who cares, i got this car for about $3600 with 115k on it. The reason that it was so cheap is that its somewhat of a heap but i'm doing what i can to fix that!! So far i've replaced the slave cylinder on the clutch, replaced front axle shafts and wheel bearings, and parking brake which has done quite a lot for the overall niceness of the car. Unfortunately, I still have a long way to go...The car needs a lot of detail work and i'm trying to decide whether or not i should do it myself. I've already straightened out the passenger side fender which was the only actual body damage, but it still doesnt look 100% so I may just buy an after market fender and get it painted.
In other body work news, i want to buy new front and rear bumpers. Does anybody know the best place to look? Also, I hate the black side skirt things...they look really bad. Plus, the tint job on the windows totally sucks...but thats an easy fix.
Next up is replacing the rear passenger side strut, and possibly the ABS sensors as well as front brakes.
Anyway, as soon as all the basics are taken care of I'm gonna begin the mods!!! Intake, pulleys, exhaust, and if money permits an STI turbo.
