I don't drive the 951 over about 2,000 miles a year (at this rate), so I use a "beater" car to get around day to day, especially in the winter.
Here is my current daily driver, a 1994 Saab 9000 CSE 5 Speed. It currently has 251,000 miles; I purchased it for 1,000 dollars from a girl at my college after seeing it in a parking lot for weeks in need of some TLC. I left a note on the car and she called me back and sold it to me a week later.

I spent a good deal of time fixing the vacuum system, installing new engine mounts (as with every 9000 I've had), fixing some leaks, replacing some suspension bushings, and buying a new rim as one was destroyed. The car is completely rust free, it is amazing how clean it is underneath. I also cleaned up the paint.
Next is a 1986 325E I had for the summer 2005 to daily drive.

My favorite, my now gone 1987 9000 Turbo 5-speed. This car ate up miles with no complaints, and with simple modifications (a 5C resistor, some soldering ability, and a 3.0 bar FPR) broke the tires loose in 3rd gear!
