I would eventually like to Redo this entire truck again and give it more protouring/Drag gracing

This is My GMC high sierra project ive had the truck since about january 2005 Im doing everything on this truck on my own top to bottem start to finish. When i got it it was a bone stock truck with a 305 with a 700r4 tranny and 308 gears in the rear end. Since then ive put a ton of time and money into this truck and theres still alot to go.
My Trucks' exterior when i Got it before i started anything
Finished exterior: June 9 2009 A little dirty but not noticeable, doors were redone with handles so in the future i can race it.
