This page is an introduction to one of my 4 Z24s.I own 8 cars total, and am always looking for more. The other Z24s I own include 1) a RARE 1986 Black with black interior,2.8 Liter, manual 4 spd, which is looking at a possible 3400 swap,3.73 gears, and much, much, more.2) a Blue 1987, with Blue interior,2.8 liter, sunroof, more is possibly in the works for that as well.3) an incomplete 1987 Black, with Black interior that was bought for the sole purpose of parts supply for the 86,87, and a 1985 cavalier wagon that was being converted into a Z24,but was stolen before it could be completed. I have my '83 Chevy K-10 400 ci, and an '81 GMC Caballero (El Camino)

Now to the details on the 1990,It was purchased on ebay for a very low price from Chesapeake,Virginia.Assuming it was an ok car by the listing I purchased it with the info it only needed a battery. After the auction had ended and payment had been made the seller refused to answer any email requesting directions to the car,as well as info on picking it up or any more details as to the cars driveability and condition. Driving down with my fiancee, and her 3 kids still with no acknowledgement from the sell and going down blind, I tracked down the seller and my car only to find out the car would not even start because of a blown head gasket.Having never done this and determined to drive home the car I had purchased,I proceeded to rebuild the top half of the motor to repair the head gasket,....ON EASTER WEEKEND on his property (a junk car sales lot with an idiot mechanic)!!It was hell trying to get all of the parts I needed, and trying to get all of the work I needed done in a timely manner.I wound up making 4 round trips from Greencastle, Indiana,to Chesapeake,Virginia and spending a total of 3 weeks doing what only should have taken a few days to accomplish. On my last few days I was made aware by someone who had overheard aforementioned IDIOT mechanic saying that when the car was finished,It wouldn't run longer than 5 minutes. HA!! EAT ME PUTO! Who's the moron now? NOT ME. 9,000 trouble free miles later, and it's still the fastest Z I have driven yet!

OK, now that I have written a nice novel, on to the car....
I can't mention everything that is in store for it,because most of it I will have to fabricate, and as far as I know ,.. some of it has never been done before.Details will be told as accomplished. Here is the Z, 6 months and $2500 later, still pretty much stock because I had to convince her to let me have fun with it.But, Oh will I play!
