well the car made it on the long haul for the 2006 hot rod power tour. we drove from here, georgia, to kissimmi florida and then from kissimmi to gainsville florida from gainsville to perry ga, from perry to columbia south carolina, from columbia to roanoke vrginia, from roanoke to harrisburg pennsylvania, from harrisburg to english town new jersey. it was about 3300 miles for the whole trip. long long ride. but it made it. and of course didnt give us any trouble.
heres some pictures of my dads chevelle. i helped him build most of it. we just put in the ac by vintage air just did the disc brake front and oversize drums in the back with a new dual bowl master cylender. We also put a 700r4 tranny in it to help with the gas on long drives like the power tour and turkey run so now it gets about 21-23 mpg a huge difference from b4. also it was painted to match our 71 stingray with 1975 corvette blue poly paint. the interior is all new also all new chrome. it is not a real ss it is a clone. originally a malibu. but if you dont open the hood there is hardly any way to tell it is not an ss.
new pics from the 06 power tour.
