I got the car in August of 2004. The last car i owned was a 1970 Ford Mustang. As for the Accent I'm making due the best I can with it (keep in mind I'm not done):
UPDATE: Car is still around and fully functioning. CA Smog laws have restricted me even more so for now the car is back to stock till I can find a way around it. Last time it had the turbo it was pushing 6-7 PSi from 2,200rpm till 3,800 rpm and 8-9 psi from 3,800 till redline (6,500rpm) At that boost it was estimated at 165whp (mind you it was running super pig rich at WOT.) Car was just using an SAFC II for fuel managment. With proper tuning from a stand alone ECU I most likly could have made 175whp off the same PSI numbers and had the power curve a lot smoother. Right now again since the CA law is restrictive as all hell I am contemplating swaping in the new 2011 Sonota Turbo engine. The engine outputs 274 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. So planted into a 2,255 lb. Accent would be pretty menacing. For now it's all about the money. Gotta save up as much as I can and will update you all once I get closer to my goal.
