I wanted a turbo that was strong, reliable and produced alot of power, so I went for a Garrett TA45. Wastegate was a Greddy 62mm external. Exhaust housing was 1.05. Exhaust went from 3 to full 4 inch. A change to a Microtech computer was next. It made 316rwhp @ 13psi.
In 2005 new upgrades to the RX5 included custom polished B45 Simmons wheels, a PWR aluminium radiator, Microtech Dash, Microtech turbo timer, Performance Challenger wheels with frontrunners and slicks for the track. 8 years since its rebuild, the same 13b series 4 turbo engine built by Mick Munro powers the RX5.
