A 13B turbo package was fitted. Stage 1 hiflowed turbo, 3 inch mandrel exhaust, wolf 2d computer, locked diff, 2 extra 13b turbo injectors, custom exhaust manifold, 12A Turbo dizzy, gilmer drive, custom surge tank, methanol water spray. Power increased from 139rwhp with the bridge port to 220rwhp with the 13b turbo..

Next round of modifications were a front mounted intercooler(2 13B intercoolers welded together), stage 2 hiflowed turbo, a pair of slicks for the dragstrip, 2 extra injectors plumbed into the manifold.
On its first outing there were problems with the intercooler piping constantly coming of the turbo and the intercooler resulting in no boost. Also the leads resistance caused the RX5 not to rev over 5500 rpm. The best time being a 14.6 at 101 mph 162 kph. Once sorted it did a 13.1 at 112 mph 180 kph.
