This is my 1997 Japanese Spec Subaru Forester s/tb. I have to say I am really impressed with the performance of the Forester, we bought the car basically because it had lots of space to put the dog in the back. However I wanted something with a little extra performance.
The car is fairly standard, with most mods having been done when the original parts needed replacing.
So far the following have been done:

From what i've been told 0-60 is about 6 seconds and top speed is 130mph. I had the car on the rolling road in july 2006 and saw 266bhp and 259lb torque on a red hot summers day.
