We bought our ex Desoto Tx car from a dealer in Houston in Sept 05, it came supplied with most of it's Police equipment though some of it not Desoto correct.

It was shipped from Houston to England and arrived in early November, as it's less than 10 years old it not only has a regular road worthiness test (MOT) it has a "super" test too, this makes sure it complies with English legislation, this also includes checking for sharp edges, this meant having to take off ALL the Police equipment along with converting some of the lights.
After failing on a couple of minor items the car passed, as I did not like the graphics it came with, we decided we would have it done in a scheme that is Globally recognisable.

Rather than have the car painted B&W we decided to stick with all white and go with the NYPD scheme

In England we can't drive around with all the lights visible, so I have had a vinyl cover made for the light bar and white magnetic sheet to cover the POLICE words (except the nose cone)
