A picture of someone else's car I borrowed off the Internet. I am thinking about modifying my grill by cutting an opening like the area I shaded - leaving 2 or 3 of the factory slots. Probably put some mesh material behind it.
If I get a fiberglass hood, I will probably get some hood louvers like on this Sierra Cosworth:
