This is my favorite of my Pinto ranch. A 1979 Pinto Cruising Wagon. I bought this one as a original window wagon and converted it to the rarer Cruising Wagon version with the steel side panels with porthole windows and a original rear window louver. Repainted it deep metallic red without the graffic stripes and added factory aluminum slotted mags. The interior seat inserts were a very gaudy white, yellow, and red plaid cloth. I changed that to white and black houndstooth cloth inserts with the original red vinyl seats and new red carpet for the floors. The engine is the original 2.3 4 banger with 4 speed trans. Not much get up and go but its very dependable and good on gas. This car is real fun to drive and always gets looks and thumbs up.
