1985 Z28 Camaro:

Well To start out with, I got the car about 5 years ago. At the time it had a 305 with a bad oil leak, almost every gasket had been poped at one point or another, The oil pan had a small hole in it, The trans slipped like mad, and as far as paint goes..well it still needs that too :P. And so the work began.

Now for the fun part, when i finally got around to getting the parts together i figured..well shit..Its going to have new tires, new rims, a new rear end, different gears, new rear brakes, an aluminum driveshaft, a built 700R4 tranny, and an entirley new motor..so why not block out the sun for a few minutes with a little smokey burnout.

The first time we pulled the motor

Now dont get me wrong..It was a grand idea to go ahead and do this in my front lawn..No dont worry..why do it in a garage..lets just go ahead and pull it out on some sand..Yeah well needless to say it was an experience.. But never the less it did in fact go fairly smooth.

Now suprisingly enough it was actually easier shoving that big ass 350 in there then it was removing the little 305. The first motor I threw in was basically just a gm Goodwrench block with some aftermarket heads and a decent top end kit. But nothing real special.

Here are some pictures of putting everything back together.

Ok so now you would think, yay its all back together, lookin sharp and running good..Wrong, pop goes the head gaskets and a little grinding and chunking noise later..i got a ripped to hell distributor gear..it was not a happy day but it gave me an oppertunity to do a little more of what i had in mind to the car.

The Parts list for this thing goes on and on but here are some.
