THIS IS A 68 DART GT THAT ORIGINALY HAD A 273 CI IN IT BUT I AM THE 13TH OWNER OF THIS CAR SO MANY MOTORS HAVE GONE INTO THIS CAR. THE GUY THAT OWNED IT BEFORE ME HAD THE ORIGINAL MOTOR IN IT BUT HE TOOK IT OUT AND PUT A 340 IN IT THEN HE BLEW IT UP SO THEN HE JUST PUT A 318 IN IT JUST TO SELL IT. THE MOTOR DIDNT RUN WHEN I HAD GOT THE CAR SO I PULLED IT OUT AND REBUILT IT.
THE MOTOR HAS SOME WORK DONE TO IT WHEN I REBUILT IT I GOT IT BORED OVER .30 AND THEN I GOT 340 J VIN HEADS ON THERE FOR THE BIGGER VALVES. I ALSO HAVE A 340 STREET STRIP CAM IN THERE AND A 600 EDELBROCK FOUR BARREL CARB ON THERE IT HAS HOOKER HEADERS AND A FLOWMASTER EXHAUST.
IT STILL NEEDS SOME WORK DONE TO IT. IT NEEDS TO BE REPAINTED BECAUSE IT WAS SITTING UNDER A TARP FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS. SO THE PAINT IS ALL CRACKED AND CHIPING. IT ALSO NEEDS THE INSIDE TO BE DONE IT NEEDS A NEW HEADLINER AND NEW SEAT FOAM AND SEAT COVERS. BUT IT IS STILL A NICE CAR FOR RIGHT NOW PRETTY SOON I WILL BE GETTING IT DONE.
