This is a pic of my new tail lights, there solid red with a white halo reverse light. The auciton on ebay said these were factory replacement aka needing no modifications to fit. BS! I spent 3 hours getting these things to fit right and on top of that they said that all you had to do was plug in the halos for it to work. That was also incorrect due to the reverse light being in the "trunk" part of the car and the halo was on the car itself, if you wanted to hook the halos up you would have to rewire to be able to lift up the trunk.

This is my 02 Civic Lx, it has 45,000 miles on it, its has a manual transmission and bought it for $5,300. When I got it the rims were bent so i went out and got some proline rims from sam goody which i really like, i dont care if there name brand or not. The car had been in an accident on the left side and appears that the damage went down the side of the car :( , they did some crappy bondo work that left divits and uneven edges and then did a horrible job repainting it, when you open the doors there is overspray and the color of the car before was much darker and looked much better.
You cant really see the bad body work in this pic, this was before i got my new tail lights, i didnt like these, and if u want to buy them from me send me a message and a price.
Onto the trunk install, I had some 4 JL audio 10's and a 1600watt Volfenhag amp from a previous car, "luckily" this car was already wired for a system. I dont know how much the size of the power wire will effect the system but i noticed this wire was way smaller than my last and on top of that was short and limited my amplifiers mobility in the trunk. The signal wire that turns the amp on was directly connected to the CD player which is something i have never understood as to why people do that, i mean i dont want my system on all the time, id go deaf. So after assessing the damages i rewired this mess and went to a local junk yard and tried to located a clean looking switch because i didnt want some tacky chrome toggle switch. I ended up getting a crusie control switch. After an 30 min of taking my console apart (I like to not break stuff that only leads to more probs, so i take my time) I get to the center area under the CD player that is where more switches can be added, the crusie control switch WILL NOT fit in any of these spaces even though they are the same size. So i ended up place it right next to my other cruise control switch (those with EX models with sunroof cant do this cause all the slots will be full).
This switch is very clean but it does say cruise control on both switches, so i probably see if Honda sells some switches to go in the center dash later. The green led lights up at night but the white crusie control dosent which is what i wanted so u can only read it during the day. I am going to replace the power wire probably tomorrow and i should be done with the system control assembly. As for the trunk i have covered the floor in 1/4in ply wood which has been cut into 3 peices, i am going to carpet this as one whole peice so the 2 sides fold together and the thing removed for easy access to the spare. I will also recarpet the entire trunk with a material when i find one that i like (probably a maroon fleece to match the car)
(this pic was taken before i got it to fit flush, its fixed now)
