WE TOOK THIS WEEKEND AND DROVE UP TO CANYON LAKE TO DO A LITTLE ROAD CRAVING. THE ROAD TO THE LAKE IS SOMETIMES USED BY THE GM PROVING GROUND FOR ADS. A SCENE FROM THE GETAWAY WAS FILED THERE. 05-08-03 I PULLED THE CAMARO OUT OF THE GARAGE TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING AND SAW WATER UNDER THE BIRD. NEXT THING I KNOW ITS THREE DAYS LATER AND WE HAVE REPLACED THE WATER PUMP,RADIATOR,MOTOR MOUNTS,FRONT BRAKES,REMOUNTED THE NOSE,CHANGED THE OIL (AND I MEAN CHANGED, WENT TO SYNTHETIC), ROTATED THE TIRES, FIXED A SCREW IN ONE, AND THE BEST PART OF ALL, STRIPED THE OLD FINISH PROTECTANT FROM THE WHEELS AND RESPRAYED THEM. I WILL BE PUTTING BEFORE AND AFTER PICS UP IN THE MORNING.
