Ditch the chevy motor and find yourself a pontiac 455, bore and stroke it to a 505 or bigger and you wont be disappointed. Its still a great car.

Hey bud your TA has got real potential. I think you have some great ideas for her. To answer your question, my cowl hood came from these guys: www.carhoods.com Check it out, they also have lots of other cool 'glass body parts. About the suspension, you would not believe the difference a high-performance set of springs and shocks makes for handling. It's like driving a whole different car. Everything has to work together as a system though, so plan on upgrading to stiffer body mounts and using poly or del-alum bushings. The stock 15's with 8" tires don't cut it. It looks like you want a good set of aftermarket wheels, don't go any bigger than 18's or it will actually kill performance. Don't skimp on tires.
Just my 2 cents...
