Here's my baby. A 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS. I spent months looking for this exact car. Anyone who has done the same knows they're not that easy to find in good condition and with low miles, especially the SS models. To make matters more difficult, I only wanted the Pewter color, and it had to have leather seats. After over a year of searching I finally found this beauty online. The price was reasonable and to my amazement, the owner lived in a nearby town only a few miles from me! I got it in November of 2005 with only 27,800 miles on it. The previous owner garaged it and used it as a weekend driver. He said it only saw rain once and was never abused. Even better was the fact that he had the car tinted. Since I planned on doing that anyway, it saved me a few hundred dollars. Other than that, it was completely stock and in PERFECT condition.

The car has a 5% limo tint on the back, and 20% everywhere else. The NY law used to be 35%, so the car wasn't legal to begin with, but now they just changed it to 70%! That's crazy, with 70% you might as well not have tints at all. There's no way in hell I'm gonna get these taken off or get them changed to 70%. I'll just take my chances with the cops.

It looks agressive as hell from the front, like it's ready to attack something.

I wish I could take off the front license plate so the car would look better, but here in NY it's illegal and the tickets are like $100 a pop. I'm lucky I haven't gotten stopped for my tints yet.
The car came factory upgraded with leather seats, T-Tops, the 500 watt 8 speaker Monsoon sound system, a 12 disc CD changer, fog lights, traction control, and the Hurst short throw shifter. It also got a few upgrades from SLP Engineering, including the (in my opinion at least) better looking SS Grille, the more powerful dual/dual exhaust, and custom floor mats. I recently called SLP to ask for the build number of my car. To my surprise they told me it was # 1,078 out of the 11,204 cars they altered for the 2002 model year. Hopefully, that low build number will add to the overall value of the car.

Here's a shot of the SLP upgraded floor mats that say CAMARO SS on them. It's a subtle, yet nice addition to the car's interior.

Speaking of the interior, here are shots of the back and the front dash board section of the car.

If the you think the back looks cramped, it is. Unless you're a midget, there's almost no chance of a comfortable ride from back there. When I sat in the backseat to take the the next picture I found out exactly how cramped it really is. Thank god I'm the driver and never have to sit back there.
