In the year 2002 I took this regular 02 to Germany for the Bavaria Tour 02. You can check out more on my web site, the 02 drive. Back then it had a stock M10 motor (4 cylinder) and although it had a nice set up, it just wasn't enough power. Now my 02 has an M20 motor (6 cylinder) and it's about doubled my horsepower and torque. The really challenging part to building this conversion is finding a 5 speed tranny out of a 323 and luckily my friend had one in the package deal. My 02 sits on 15X6 Italias with Bridgestone S03 195/50/15s. The wheels have an ET12, so it required some fender rolling and negative camber to get them to fit. I'm currently at 2.0 degrees of negative camber up front. I was originally running Ireland Engineerings Coilover set up, but now I have the Ground Control Coilovers and camber plates. The GC set up is really beefy and was put together by RacingAli, who was the suspension engineer that designed the GC Coilover product for the 2002. The strut tubes are 50mm with Koni Single Adjustables inserts (same inserts that e46s use). The next endeavor will be a chip and an exhaust or maybe a turbo set up. Still looking for the right header so if you have a line on a 323 Ansa Header let me know!! All in all, it's still a work in progress and makes a great rally car. Thanks for reading and takin a look.
