As soon as I got my new wheels I really needed the calipers to be painted. I had purchased the paint and the decals a while ago as I knew that I would be painting them soon - even if I only had the stock wheels on.
Me and my Dad painted the calipers. I have never seen a vehicle with white calipers, and even if there is I don't think it is a very common colour to paint your calipers. So there were no kits available in white, I had to buy high heat spray paint, my Dad had some red caliper paint for his Supra so I used some of that and the high heat decals I bought off of eBay.
Ok here we go.....
We took the front calipers off and rested them on the wheel bearing, and painted them, these pictures were taken near the end (I did have old blankets protecting my car from the overspray).
As soon as the calipers were put back on my car I really didn't like how the break pads looked........
.....so I painted them red and then added the Camaro decals to the calipers
The rear calipers are different than the front ones, they are vented, so no decals can go on it. They are also harder to take off the car - so we just left them on and masked around the inside of the rotor and just spray painted the caliper.
And that's it..here are two more pictures of the finished product :)
