ToxicFox's 1986 Nissan 200SX

.: [ Welcome to Toxic Fox Racing - Project #1 Toxic Fox] :.

.: Welcome to the first of many Toxic Fox Racing Project cars. Each car will have many pages detailing the customization of the car. Starting out with stock pictures, followed by each page of upgrades. As we move along with the project, we will upload and add more pictures, and more information about the cars, and Toxic Fox Racing. Enjoy :.

.: This first project is nick names Toxic Fox, as it is our first, and the owners first car, we felt it needed, and deserved the honor of having the teams name stamped on it for all time. This first page will show you the stock state of the car. The only thing that has been changed so far, is a bit of cleaning. Not much though. I wanted to degrease the engine first, but decided against it to really show how it was when I got it. :.

[ Front View]
This first picture is from the front of the car. Until I get a gas can, and a new battery, the car is stuck where it is, so this is the best I could do.

[ Back View ]
This is taken from behind the car. As you can see, I will need to redo the insignia, which yes I plan on doing. I want everyone to know what Im driving, car lovers and haters. Not very clean yet, but oh well, I want it too look as Unloved as it was when I got it for X-mass :D.

This shot is of the right front. You can clearly see the fender and light damage in this picture. From what my body guy tells me, it wont be too hard to fix this and the dented fender on the other side. No hail damage so this is about all the body work. Oh, and adding the body kit and new paint job of course :D

This is from the back right view. Nothing much special here, just a good shot I liked.

[ Engine View ]
As you can see, the engine compartment, hell the engine itself, is lacking some good loving. I plan on getting thins cleaned and polished after the X-Mass holidays. I also am taking off the hood and removing some stuff on it, and power spraying it clean. Soon it will look nice as hell in there. Oh, and before you ask, there is an electrical error somewhere, and the lights stay on in the car, as well as the alternator is not hooked up, so I have to keep the battery unplugged for now.

.: This is a nice car for the price we paid, as you can see. Little wrong with it. Just the alternator is unhooked (dont ask me, I dont know either), needs new windshield wiper blades, some interior fixing, a bit of dent repair, a new exhaust system ( cat is bored out, wont pass inspection, and I dont have $100 for a special inspection ).

Thats damn near it. There are just a few small things and this car will be in perfect running order. Then its time to get to work on the rest of it, upgrading everything. But the first priority is definitely to get it working and useable, and defiantly insured :P

We already have a full body kit for it, new headers, a new turbo, exhaust on order, rims/tires, steering wheel, and have ordered the paint. My body dude will paint for the price of the paint and a case of beer, which works for me. The rest of the work will be my own hands. Thats all for now, will update as things progress :.

Nice choice fer a project car, the one question i have is where are you going to find a body kit for it. they all look Fugly, even the JDM ones. what are your plans for the engine? any swap u have in mind, a lot of people have been going with the SR20DET. with minor fab it can fit in pretty nice. Keep me posted, as im curious to see what you come up wit. good luck
