Buick Roadmaster in Switzerland
Let me know what you think about it!
It's already a couple months ago when I've put in an air ride system (to move seperately the front and back axle). Pictures from close up shots will follow soon!
But here in Switzerland it is not quite legal to do such things with your car... Listen just to this story which happened before I've put the air ride in: The police took me out driving on the Autobahn and I had to pay a fine 'cause the wheels were too big, tinted frontside windows are not allowed, licence plate isn't readable, the changes I did to the car didn't get allowed by the authorities, the car itself is (according to them) unqualified to drive on the streets... But their old Opel was for sure in a much worse state then my Buick!

About 9 years ago I did buy this wonderfull Buick (just a couple days after I've first seen it and after selling my Renault Megane Coupe).
It has already been in different hands and one of the previous owners already modified the car a bit. Its original dark green color has gone. Now it is a very dark blue with silver racing stripes. Among some other things I've added the light covers and the air ride systems brings the car low to the ground!!!

The back got a rollpan: the bumper/step has gone and the licence plate sits further down. If only somebody would produce clear tail lights for that car!!!

A nice chrome licence plate frame even supports the look, the only thing I had to do was to cut off some of the swiss license plate 'cause it didn't fit into the american frame...

All windows except the front one are tinted. Law in Switzerland is quite strict concerning tinted windows, but as it looks much better I don't really care...

The wheels are 17" from Weld Racing, dimension 8x17 and 9 1/2x17.
