11-23-06: Got my muffler exhaust and installed it under the car but the tips didn't fit the body kit so I had to get them adjusted.

1-23-06: Installed Blue light rods under feet and behind seats

1-25-06: While visiting my friends up in my hometown of Santa Maria, we went out into the pitchblack boonies to G-tech my MR2 to test the HP and the 1/4 mile. Despite being out in the middle of nowhere a Cop found us and pulled over. We made up some lie and got him off our backs. If it were any later he would have caught us racing down the backroads with the G-tech Pro. So still no stats or times for the MR2, maybe later!

2-1-06: After waiting 2 MONTHS for my brand new door panels to arrive, they got here from Canada and I installed them, fixing my passanger side power window in the process. Doors look much sweeter than the ripped ones! I also got an alignment today and the guys at the shop were shitting bricks over my car, they all wanted to drive it around the parking lot, the manager took a picture for their wall of cars!

2-8-06: My JDM 98-99 Carbon Fiber spoiler arrived from Japan a few weeks ago, but I finally installed it today since my spoiler protective mounting pads arrived today. Wing is fuckin SICK! Its a line just above the rear engine scopp to block yet even more of my vision out the back, and its hard to see cars behind me, but oh well it looks cool!

2-13-06: Installed a new fuel filter today, damn that shit was in there good! My gas mileage was shitty so I decided that was the last thing I could change to help improve it!

2-24-06: Got my A/C fixed so now I finally have cold air in my car! But unfortunately the person at the store for some reason was driving it and accidentally hit something so some of the paint got fucked up on my front bumper. I was PISSED!

3-2-06: My triple pillar guage pod arrived today with Boost, Air/Fuel ratio, and Water Temp guages! I will install it soon as I can find out how to get through to the engine through the firewall.

3-6-06: Installed my Pillar pod today!

3-8-06: Looks like the mods will cease at this point. Bought my wifey a new VW Beetle so we will be working on that one for a while!

3-20-06: Joined the MR2oc and am now organizing a local meet for us MR2 owners, also signed up for TOYOTAFEST2006 in May! Hope to enter my FIRST ever car show and win a trophy if I am lucky! With me good luck!

3-27-06: Finally gave this beast a claybar for the first time since it was repainted. The car had a lot of poor quality overspray from the clearcoat that I cleaned up nicely. Too bad it RAINED the same day!

3-30-06: FINALLY got pulled over in my ride today. 12:30 in the morning on my way home from work 2 cops were pulling over a mustang convertible and left them as they stared me down then got into their cars and hauled ass after me. They said I ran a red light but I KNOW THEY WERE FULL OF SHIT because the light was yellow. But with 4 cops against ME alone, what can I do? But they let me off so that's good.. Fuck the police for trying to ticket me for something I did not do at all! Wouldn't be the first time and I'm sure many of you agree!

4-3-06: Met my first twin MR2 tonight. As I was leaving work someone with a pearl white Widebody turbo MR2 pulled into my parking lot. We talked about cars for almost 2 hours and his car was fuckin sick! I see things on his I liked better and would like to do to mine! Very nice work indeed and nice to see a fellow widebody roaming around in the valley!

4-15-06: After a 3 day process and finding the right tools, FINALLY installed my rotors, pads, and my painted calipers. They look great to me! I am hoping they stay this color and don't fade. Took a lot of effort to compress the rear brakes so it was a 3 day process to finish the job.

4-22-06: Went to my first MR2 meeting in Burbank today and met up with about 10 other owners. It was a great time, then we went on a canyon run and that was awesome! I had a lot of fun doing that tho it was pretty scary at night since I had never been before. Hope to do it again sometime!

5-13-06: My FIRST ever car show, Toyotafest 2006 in Long Beach by the Queen Mary. It was bad ass! Lots of tight Toyotas there and ended up taking home a trophy for Best MR2 at my first show! This was awesome and a great time and met a few other MR2 owners while there.

6-22-06: Unfortunately while driving, one of my headlight covers flew off my car and I lost it! I called everywhere and the covers are discontinued and would take 3 months to get in stock! FORTUNATELY I found a company with a used one that I purchased at a discount price! Thanks alot to A-Spec for all the help!

7-10-06: Received my short throw shifter in the mail today and installed it myself. Took about an hour to install the thing. I was sort of pissed because the advertisement showed a better shift knob but they sent me a different one so I was mad about that. This knob will work either way.

7-12-06: Purchased wheel stripes today and installed them. These are made for streetbikes, but i may be the first to apply them on a car. they hide curb rashes and add color to the wheels. I got reflective blue so they stand out pretty well at night!

7-15-06: Today was the Annual San Fernando Valley meet/cruise/dine. This was a lot of fun meeting nearly 40 MR2 owners and then cruising up the canyons and down Pacific Coast Highway and back again. Had a great time running around with other owners. Hope to go to more meets like this in the near future!

8-21-06: My windshield which had a 2 foot crack in it finally got replaced today. Looks much better, though it sucks because I lost my window tint and also my visor banner, so I'll have to get a new banner soon.

8-31-06: Got the new windshield banner made today. It's about 2 inches lower and says "WIDERisBETTER" on it which is my screen name from MR2OC.COM

9-2-06: Got my new customized taillights installed today with red turn signals, LED lights, and working sidemarkers too!

9-30-06: Great turnout at a meet in Torrance. Cruised down there with Hiro and his widebody so it looked cool having us both cruise on the freeway. Got alot of looks... but a lot of attention from a few cops as well!

10-3-06: Installed JDM fogs lights in place of my hyperwhites in the front bumper. Thanks to Hiro for helping me out with them! Had a bitch of a time mounting them since the upper support brace was removed after the accident, I had to custom mount them in there and they are much harder to aim.

10-18-06: Someone came to my work and mentioned that they were throwing a car show at the local Toyota dealership and that I would have a good chance of winning a trophy! I'll probably attend this show later on in November.

11-4-06: Little mini-MR2 meet at Mike's house in Santa Clarita was pretty kick back with only 3 MR2 there but still was nice to hang out! Pics on Page 6.

11-19-06: Hamer Toyota Car show hosted by Scion-Life today. I ended up taking home the BEST OF SHOW Trophy! I was excited about that one! Had a great time today and it was nice to see other people appreciate my work and to see other nice cars as well. Hope to attend a Toyota show again soon.
