*****BE ADVISED: Car was sold on 3/20/07, Congratulations to the new owner, Jack! There have been reports of people trying to use my pictures and sell my car on EBAY and also on AutoTrader. Please do not fall for those ads, the car has already been sold to someone.
Hope you all still enjoy the pictures of my MR2! Any questions just ask me and I will reply!
Just so you can see what I have replaced my MR2 with, here is a picture on 3/20/07, the last day I had the MR2. I replaced her with what I had wanted all along, the sequel to my first car, the Nissan 300ZX, which is the Nissan 350Z.
My 2005 350z with my 1991 MR2 on the last day I owned the MR2

<---- When it comes to Carbon Quota, I have 26 pieces of carbon fiber on the car. And I'm not talking about a 13 piece dash kit, I have actual pieces all over the interior and body of the car.
Hey my name is Kyle. Some of you might remember me from my previous car "nitrouscav97" which got a lot of attention in the past in the Cavalier section. But I sold the white Cavalier on December 12, 2005 to a kid from Texas. Here are some pics of the new car I've been working on, a Toyota MR2.
Back home from the Hamer Toyota Car show with my BEST OF SHOW Trophy! I was really excited about this one, it's as tall as my car is!
Here I am accepting the trophy
On top of the Disneyland Parking Lot
Here are the newest pictures taken in Burbank at my first MR2 meet on 4/22/06
Photoshop job of that pic, thanks to ae_21!
There is my beautiful wife Holly sitting in the drivers seat even though she can't drive a stick.
These are the pictures of my MR2 after I installed the spoiler but didn't wash it because MORE mods are still to come! Let me know what you think!
Twins? Haha I wish! I love Lamborghini Diablos especially blue ones! This is what I aspire to own someday!
Finally washed it after all that rain, and claybared it too, but it rained again... Here she is WITH the doors down this time so you can see what she looks like when its normally parked in the driveway.
A clean side shot
Just installed wheelstripes to set my wheels off nicely, it is a decal that is made to add to the lip of the rim to make it match the paintjob. I think the blue looks great with the color.
When i use the flash it has a reflective tint to it, this will look killer at night I think!
These shots were taken on the LAST day I had the Cavy on December 12, 2005 right before the new owner picked her up and whisked her out of my life... She was a good car for the last 3.5 years I had her and I had fun building it up!
Here are some single pics of the MR2 by itself. It is a 1991 Toyota MR2 with a LOT of mods to it.
Side shot with the lambo doors up. TRD widebody kit looks great I've always liked them!
Shaved into the body a locking SPARCO gas cap ($160 a pop). It's missing a screw right now so I'm trying to find one to replace it and match nicely since SPARCO is being lame and doesn't sell replacement screw sets at all!
Border style dual ducted carbon fiber hood, painted on the sides to match the paintjob. The sides had to be modded to fit the custom headlights, so the sides had to be painted Looks very cool to me!
Flush mounted carbon fiber hood pins with keys. I bought these for the trunk of my Cavalier but never installed them so i will end up putting them on here instead.
Down shot of the hood so you can see the dual ducts of the customized border carbon fiber hood
Do-Luck rear engine bay slim-line side scoops. Most people have the huge ones of these but these are special and are slim-line to look sleeker! Allows extra air into the engine bay from the sides. Also has the rear engine compartment door lid in carbon fiber with air ducts to allow engine heat to escape.
Another shot of the ducts this time from the front
Had a sticker made for my favorite band Static-X and popped it on the back window
1998-1999 JDM carbon fiber spoiler. This is the same exact spoiler that comes on the car in Japan but in carbon fiber instead of fiberglass. I got this to match the rest of my exterior carbon fiber trim pieces and it was imported from Japan for a REASONABLE price!
Now what it looks like with the rest of my rear engine compartment CF pieces.
What would an MR2 be without the 94+ Kouki JDM circular taillight set??? A must have on any MR2!
Got a front strut tower brace as well, took some effort to get it to fit
Custom carbon fiber projector bubble headlights, made by C-West USA for an RX-7! Not those regular flip up ones. Has a set of Hyperwhite CATZ beams in the center with Halogen yellow CATZ fog lights on the sides.
Here they are INSTALLED! You can see the corner of the hood is not squared off, bondo had to be added to custom fit the headlights and make it look flush. The bumper and fenders were also modded before painting the car.
Clear corners lenses, carbon fiber adjustable license plate frame, carbon fiber side air splitters, AND carbon fiber lower splitter piece with adjustable SPARCO parts to allow you to adjust the height of the splitter!
Had to keep my custom license plate. This thing has been with me since high school on the Cavalier, the Eclipse, the Cavalier again, and now the MR2. Check out the place of real carbon fiber layed behind the plate, completely unnecessary but looks cool! Oh yeah FUCK-USC as a UCLA Bruin student we sport it for UCLA!
I got in there with my hands and installed some mesh grill to make the car stand out, does it look better?
It cut up my hands since I had to cut them with wire cutters but its better than an empty hole
Stock turbo MR2 rear "X" bar. I am going to repaint it since after some time the engine burns off the paint from the bar itself. It will end up being gunmetal dark gray sinc ei have a can of that left over from my Cavalier
These are my rims 18-inch Velox VX-K gunmetal, this is a close up view of them from the site they are from.
FINALLY got cross-drilled/slotted rotors, here they are installed and with new pads and blue painted calipers.
This is the difference between my stock rotors and my new ones, much sweeter!
The long process of taking apart the car and changing the rotors
Parts all over the ground
The masking off and painting of the caliper
New CF piece its a rear diffuser
This is where it will go, in place of the blue one between the rear muffler tips
Taken right after the bodywork was completed and the paintjob was finally finished
Washed it after the paintjob was applied to the car
This is the stock exhaust muffler, very dirty and nasty with dirt and oil on it plus overspray from painting the car! DISGUSTING! I removed this for sure and replaced it!
Back shot of the new exhaust mufflers, a custom built Magnaflow dual exhaust system (same as the ones used on a Camaro), I painted it black and put 4.5 inch chrome tips on the ends of it.
This is when the tips were getting adjusted at the shop since they were scraping the widebody rear bumper.
Another shot at the muffler shop.
Getting the windshield replaced here. The 2 inch crack stretched all the way from top to bottom! Had to get it replaced for shure!
Windshield is off and on its way to the garbage!
LOTS OF THINGS LEFT TO DO ON IT! JUST GIVE IT SOME TIME, I'LL END UP GETTING LOTS OF PICS UP SOON!
I would like to thank everyone who had supported me on the Cavalier! I enjoyed all the POSITIVE comments and everything that was said about it and all those who added me to their friends lists. Hopefully those who enjoyed the Cavalier will enjoy my MR2 just as much! If you want your car to look good you just have to try! Give yourself a goal and go for it!
