UPDATE 11/3/07- Wow, been almost a year since I've updated this. Basically, here's what happened. I got the air to water intercooler system and a nitromethane boost for my water/methanol injection. This put me down to a 14.4 in the quarter. Then, the run after that, I blew the supercharger. Catastrophic failure, luckily chewed up the impeller pretty good but didn't blow the engine or ruin the intercooler. So, I decided to go turbo, since vortech gave me bullshit about too many rpms (which is mathematically impossible, I was about 10,000rpms below that in terms of the impeller speed...). I designed a rear mounted turbo system with the help/sponsorship of STS turbos. At 9psi with a very slow spooling setup (thanks to the 2.5" exhaust in front of the turbo), I ran a 14.9. I am putting the stock exhaust leading to the turbo which should up the heat and flow of exhaust gases, and consequently spool quicker. It's a garrett/precision t3/t4 hybrid with a .60AR on the intake side and .36 on the exhaust. I also scored a built bottom end complete with 9:1 CR JE pistons, eagle rods, balanced and blueprinted block bored .007" over, with ARP studs, for a reasonable price. Look for 12's and 13's next season once it's all set up properly. I should be running about 20psi. :)
UPDATE 12/17/06- Finally got around to buying a pretty ridiculous amount of new parts for my car. A while ago I got a CFM peformance 2.25" flex pipe setup and a 5.7" overdrive crank pulley. I am now running about 11-12psi of boost (non-intercooled, but i'm buying water to air setup from focussport with my tax return), and dropped my quarter mile time to a 14.8. Slightly more respectable for something with those HP numbers and whatnot. In order to be in the 13s I need different final drive gears, stage 4 clutch, flywheel, and limited slip differential. consequently, i've just bought all these things, and i'm about to get them installed next week or thereabouts. Once I get the air to water intercooler, smaller supercharger pulley [another 1-2 psi] and get the car properly tuned, I should be running low 13s to high 12s. Track opens april 1, and I hope to have all those things done by then so check back and we'll see...thanks for checkin
UPDATE 6/20/06- Just thought i'd tell all you pricks that vote my car down just to make yours go up that you're pathetic. Concentrate more on making your car less shitty instead. That's all.
UPDATE 6/10/06- Ok, so I graduated from NHTI. Normally that's a big-fucking-deal who cares kind of situation, but it cut me out of the debt I had from getting the supercharger installed, and scored me 800 bucks. I ended up getting a focus central throttle body, Milltek Hyperboost HX Compact bypass valve, and FINALLY the snow performance stage 2 methanol injection. I also got some header wrap, some aluminum heat tape for the intake pipes, and a hood scoop to ensure a reeeeeally cool intake charge. The only thing I haven't installed yet is the hood scoop--i'm working on it. Lastly, I just installed some EBC Turbo Groove cross drilled/slotted brake rotors and Hawk performance brake pads to pull the car to a stop. If I can sell enough of my shit on ebay [people please ask, I have a lot of other stuff than just car parts] then I might be able to afford the 17" rims I want. On the interior I put some red LED boards I made myself into the rear pockets under the speaker grilles, which pulsate to the beat of the music. I will shortly be installing some green strip LED boards into the headliner to light up the entire back half of the car through a switch. That's about it for now, i'll post quarter mile times as soon as I get a chance to go up again [hopefully next weekend for Import Wars]. Thanks for checking, and remember to please sign the guestbook! P.S.: Here's a new link for my car, fairly recent but doesn't take into account throttle body, methanol injection, or new bypass valve...

UPDATE 4/30/06- Took a few hours to wash, wax, clean, detail, etc...my car and took some new pics. Also it's been a week or so and the new ignition system is still running great and I did pick up a few miles per gallon, whether that be the ignition system or stop-n-shop gas is to be determined, but either way that works for me! Check back in a few weeks for the methanol injection system pics...Oh, and if you want to see a video of the car before I put the headers and downpipe on, check this out...

UPDATE 4/24/06- Fixed the dipstick handle, got everything taken care of and got up to the track. I was really disappointed to see that my car couldn't run faster than a 15.7 in the quarter and figured it was either my IAT temps, leaking boost, or the ignition system. I've since replaced my ignition system with the Screamin' Demon system by performance distributors, and when I pulled the #3 plug I found some oil on it...hopefully not a recurring problem. Either way I am pretty sure a full second was shaved off the quarter mile because of the ignition system. No more lagging on high RPM's anymore, but that doesn't change the fact that i'm going to get methanol injection for the intake temps and a VF race bypass valve for the boost :). Check back soon!
UPDATE 4/3/06- Had a chance to install my upper header pipe yesterday so I managed to do that in two hours...I was going to install the lower pipe but both O2 sensors were completely frozen not to mention the upper one is IMPOSSIBLE to get a bite on...good design ford...Anyway 50k miles is a good time to change them so i'll put some fresh ones in the new lower pipe and that'll be that. Broke the dipstick handle in the process, too...oh well...
UPDATE 3/22/06- Installed most of the supercharger by myself last weekend with the help of my friend steve, but later ran into problems with installation so I had a family mechanic take care of the rest. I had some time off this week so I put the factory front bumper back on, s2 style with the lower lip, and I also put on the s2 skirts and the rear lip. New pics will be up soon. Wanna race?
UPDATE 3/8/06- Got the supercharger in the mail a little while ago, along with the euro front grille and a few other goodies...i'll be installing those over the next week or two. Still waiting on that damn CF hood...
UPDATE 12/26/05- Someone backed into my car and its gonna cost them about $1900, and best of all it doesnt really look like much is wrong with my car, all aesthetic damage. Soon to come: All remaining exterior modifications plus CF hood. Check in religiously for new pics, which i'll be posting shortly...
