This is my 1989 Toyota 4runner.It has the SR5 package, power everything, sunroof, and a 3.0 V6.I just bought this truck last month (november/2005) for $1,795 with 276,000 miles. The truck was bone stock when I bought it but, recently i have installed all new black carpet throughout and a K&N air filter.
I am trying to gather some parts together for a sas and 6 inch lift. If any one has a toyota staight axle,altitude/tilt gauge or any new or used toyota 4x4 parts let me know with a pic and price e-mail me at r1nosracer@yahoo.com
Today 1/16/06 my buddy and i went wheelin at Reiters Pit for the first time. I couldnt try anything to crazy cause we were be our selves. It was pretty cool takin the stock 4runner through some deep puddles! I tried crawling up some random rocks but i just dont have the ground clearance to get up on the big ones. The only body damage i recieved was loosing the front right corner piece off the front bumper (It was loose already and probobly came off as i powered through the big puddle below)and the lower valance got a little mangled. No big deal!
If anyone is from the Western Washington area and wants to go 4wheelin let me know i'm always up for some 4x4! I am somewhat new to 4wheelin but if i have some one to pull me out i will just about try anything!
