This is the beginning of returning a 1986 Ford Mustang SVO to its orginal state. We purchased the car in late 2005. The SVO was built between 1984 and 1986 and a total of 9000 SVOs were produced over the 4 model years. The SVO is super rare and highly respected by Mustang enthusiests everywhere and is considered to be the next Boss 302 as far as collectability and value.

Update: No new pictures but finally got the headlight header panel we need to put the nose back together. We have spent about $2k in new parts(headlights suspension parts, tune up parts, interior parts etc.) so far and the car should be up and running sometime this fall.

Project 86' Ford Mustang SVO

Plenty of front end damage. Gunna have to replace the nose clip and the fender but all the bracing in the front of the car is straight.

Car is is rust free but its guuna need alot of work.

Interior needs a fair amount of work including a new dashpad new carpet and alot of cleaning.

Back of the car. Well the pic speaks for itself the car is an absolute mess.

Under the hood is complete with leaves and 3 years worth of spider webs but we got it running.
