Video of alto's muddy Helicopter Hill.

I decided that i wanted to re-route my intake inside so that it wont get wet(not easily). This involved taking out my blower, which defeated the purpose of having other a/c stuff, so i took it all out as well. It didnt work anyway. I am planning on drawing up an aluminum dash in solid edge and punching it out and bending it to take the place of the stock one. Before, i had the intake running to the light holes, so now i am in the process of eliminating the holes as well.
Finished the rear of my roll cage finally....
Went to Shiloh Ridge in Alto, Texas recently.
Found some 46" baja claws to flex on...though i still had more to go because both front and rear will touch tire to fender.
And............................I sank it lol

More pics of the requested track bar mount and its lack of binding
My friends truck is a 2WD tacoma that we have put a Ford 8.8 with Detroit locker in as SOA in the rear and lifted front by fabtech spindles and springs, but soon to be solid axle. I made it up the ledge that is up to my rocker shortly after the pic was taken...just had to get out to take it :)
Recently I blew a tooth off of my pinion gear in my 8.8. In hopes to not run into this problem again i decided to invest in a 9 inch rather than repair the c-clip axle.
I found a Currie housing with TJ brackets for 200 dollars that had been narrowed to a TJ's width... I cut all the brackets off and grinded them smooth, cut out new mounts, made a truss, welded it all together and painted it. I put the 8.8's brakes on, and put in new wheel bearings, seals, and a freshly built 3rd member with a new detroit locker. I also installed a teraflex flat skid plate that i picked up for 75 bucks...makes it look a lot nicer.
when it started to look more like a buggy...
Gilmer pics, September 30th 2006.
Decided to take on a big rock pile...but the t-case skid hangs a little too low.
A friend wanted to flex on my tire....then I found a guy with 46's to flex on.
Here are a couple I chose to run over but that were easily avoidable...
A flex shot
I straddled this ditch...then slipped into it for a big smack into the wall, Ended up tieing a friends jeep to my roll cage and pulling it hard enough to get it off the wall...then eased it back out. just a few scuffs and dings.
Here is a pile of dirt lol. Very steep and very slippery. Wouldnt work well without the extended wheelbase.
The one good picture we got of me going up Dewoody, however I do have video of me making it 3 times in about 1-3 minutes each.
Dewoody is the hardest trail in the park essentially rated at a 5 diamond. it is about a 125 ft hill that is dirt, rock, and ledges, so its slippery, jagged and takes a little throttle for the ledges.
Please look at my old website from 2003 that has a 4inch full traction kit on the same trails.
