In March time I purchased some Toyo Proxes 195/50/15 T1S and here are some pics...They are brilliant in the wet and grip round corners...recommended! ;-)

You remember how I said that I may lower *Sparky* more in the future...well the future has arrived! On the 12th April 2006 my FK Highsport coilovers arrived, pretty good considering I only ordered them the day before! ;-) I'm not going to lower it much more though, I would if I could (believe me!) but I can't because my cabby is a daily driver and besides we all know how low the sump is!! I know *Sparky* seems quite low already but I chose coilovers as the best option to go slightly lower plus maintain great ride quality etc.
Here are some pics, sorry they're bit blurred, I was very excited and when we did the back on the 13th it was raining hard! :-(

The last picture shows the ride height I settled on before the test drive (estimated 75mm-ish drop)...how did *Sparky* handle and ride?...brilliant, like a dream! The shorter front struts in particular allow much more suspension travel, this car rides smooth and low! ;-)

Inspired by a cabby that I saw at a show I have been on the look out for some 14 inch Centra Turbo alloys on German ebay. I bid and won a set last week and they arrived today-nearly as good as Venom were for my coilovers!! I was planning to strip, detail and polish them but as they are in such good condition, (it seems as though they still have the original paint) seems a shame, so for now I'm leaving them! Here are some pics, I will be getting some tyres soon (when I have �-still a student!), probably 185/50/14's. They are 6 inches wide and their offset is 27 so they'll stick out a little but providing I get 50's should be okay...going to lower Sparky a little more and I cannot wait to see how Sparky handles now! Oh and you will see that Sparky now sports a single grill and eyelids! ;-)
