There is currently two videos up on Youtube. The first video is a an exhaust comparision going through the mufflers, and then uncorked through the dumps I had the local hotrod exhaust shop install. Makes for a crowd pleaser at cruises. :-) The second video was taken a year later of me burning the back hides off a couple of times. I finally had gotten a 4.10 SG (posi) installed and wanted to get some cool shots before shoving it in the garage for the winter. The entire previous year I was driving the car with an open carrier. :-0
I first got this car eight years ago as something to beat the crap out of back in high school. A buddy of mine at the time introduced me to some of the local Mopar gurus and I started to get interested in the hobby, Next thing I knew my slight curiosity turned into a full fledged project. I progressed from simply fixing things to upgrading. It started out with a simple 4bbl swap on the original motor, and turned into custom frame work to install a 4spd auto transmission and a 400 horse 360 small block.
A few years ago I had to car over a friends house for some routing paint work and he asked me if I wanted ghost flames painted on the car. He was just experimenting and it still turned out as if I took the car a professional shop with a spray booth. Hell, he did that in his garage! Other work includes dent fixes and a complete repaint of hte base white. New factory style pinstripping was also added.
Cragar S/S wheels with BFG Radial T/A's. 15x8 255-60-15 in the rear. 15x7 235-60-15 in the front. The rear tires have a 4.25" backspace allowing the tires sit inside the wheel well without a single issue of rubbing. To me the Cragars compliment the car well due to the amount of chrome on the body.
