I know...I know I have been procrastinating again in updating this. Before anything else, I want to thank everyone who has made my car or site no.1 again. What's new? Right now I am concentrating in upgrading my car's interior while waiting for my engine build up to finish (Still waiting for parts in Japan). I started removing those rickety seats. I am about to order a new carpet at JC Whitney. Still contemplating on which color...black or red (which looks good in a type R Civic with black interior). Probably I'll stick to being conservative, I'll play it safe and just order black. I bought 2 pairs of Recaro reclinable seats, yes you heard me right 2 pairs (Boy my car is spoiled). One is a SRD Millennium seat in black cloth and the other is a Recaro Sportsline in black leather.

to be continued....

Yikes 15 months since I last updated my site! People who has been following this site has been asking for any updates regarding my project. Where do I start? I have actually been busy buying and selling parts that I have almost neglected my car. I have amassed parts already to dress up 4 Starlets if I want to but sadly the fun part of installing it in my car has been stalled. I can blame it on the cold weather here in Chicago, laziness in my part, not sticking to my original plan etc etc. As far as my engine goes, slowly I have already got 90% of the parts to complete my TRD upright engine. Hopefully this engine will be finished by end of Spring or mid Summer (again haha). after carefull study my original plan has been changed to a more setup. The use of quad throttle bodies has been shelved for the meantime and just use good old carbies for now but eventually I will migrate to using EFI quad throttles, I just want the engine to function for now. I wanted a Stage 3 for my engine but I will have to sacrifice drivability for it, and since I love driving it around it will be rare for me to push the engine to 9000rpm unless I will dedicate my car for track use only. I figured that it is best to go in between Stage 2 and 3 so I guess I should custom made my specs to a Stage 2.5. This will give me power on the mid to to highs. Here is the specs of my engine with almost 90% finality of how it will come out:

Camshaft: trd ke002 108 deg
Cam gear: TRD adjustable cam gear
Valves: TRD Stage 2 KE051
Valve springs: TRD dual valve springs
Pistons: 1500cc custom made by Arias @ 12.1:1 compression ratio
Connecting rods: Custom made lightweight Forged H beam Con Rods with ARP bolts (2lbs lighter than stock)
Flywheel: TODA lightweight aluminum flywheel
Transmission: T-50 (yes!) with K series engine to T series bellhousing, T50 close ratio transmission gear set
Induction: twin side draught Weber DCOE 40s on TRD upright manifold and TRD manifold stay
Headers: I will have to have it custom made
Electrical: TRD CDI on TRD plugs
Thermostat: TOM'S Racing high temp thermostat
Oil COoler: Greddy
Oil Catch can: Cusco
External oil pump: Accusump
