FINAL REBUILD COMPLETED BY MURGICS IN ROSEMOUNT, MNb>
Besides of what the motor currently has for upgrades, the new rebuild consists of a variety of new parts. It begins with a stock numbers matching 109 block bored .030 over. Internals consist of Speed Pro forged .030 pistons with file fit plasma moly rings, TA Performance 214/214 camshaft, new lifters, and a Cloyes double roller timing chain. The heads are fully ported and polished, with a back cut on the valves done by R & R Performance in Blaine, MN. The heads are assembled with stock valves, keepers, retainers and guides, but with 110 pound TA Performance Stage 1 valve springs. I got a new timing cover with a high volume oil pump from Full Throttle installed. I have a polished STD/STD crankshaft. Has STD bearings for both the mains and the rods, and has TA Performance Dual feed grooved cam bearings. Also bought a new oil pick-up screen to get rid of any and all bearing material stuck in the screen. My 3 1/2" Terry Houston down pipe, intercooler tubing, factory exhaust manifolds, air intake pipe and crossover are all ceramic chromed. To finish it up I have added ARP main studs, head studs, and ARP rod bolts. As for the gaskets. I am using stock thickness high performance composite Victor Reinz Head gaskets with Fel Pro gaskets to seal the rest of the engine up.
