Welp, this is my 1995 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande Edition. Family bought it brand new in summer of 1995, and was handed to me last year. We've always 4-wheeled with it, but now the springs are sagging so much, I't almost pointless to go with the ground clearance it's got now. Not all is stock, im running a cheap pair of wildcat 235/75R15 MT tires on the stock wheels; loud, loud but used to get the job done. I used to 4-wheel at Tuttle creek ORV park in Randolph, Kansas (best in kansas, period). Word of advice, never bring a mostly stock ANYTHING, especially a yj. I was able to go about 3 times, and on the 4th time, my tail pipe hanger broke, and I slipped down a hill and the tipe was jammed into the mud and was pinched off around the rear stabilizer bar. With a new exhaust installed, and the nearly backwards sagging springs, this Jeep is near retirement unless I can bulk up the cash for a lift kit. I was think of a 2.5 inch lift with 31 inch tires, but im not completely set on the decision. Hopefully I can get some feedback from people :)

I hear you about your Jeep sorry to hear about that. My Old YJ was doing the same thing as far as suspension goes that 2inch I put on it started to look like a inch lift. Overtime unless you change your leaf springs out every 5 years or so will start to sag especially when you rack the miles up. I had 235,000 on my suspension. You can always in years to come get you a nice used TJ that way you won't even have to worry about your suspension sagging. Esepecially if you can get you one with the inline six your be bulletproof. I wanted to keep my old jeep to beat around in but I needed to sell it for the money. My heater core started leaking and it had that annoying water leak on the passenger floorboard that was just getting worse and worse. I replaced every seal on that thing and it would only hold for a month or so and just gradually leak a little more each time. Hope everything works for you.

Well You could bolt it on there with clamps but it is much better to have it weldeded. A weld will hold up better becuase the bolts and the clamp studs have a tendency to rust and break off. Either one will work but, I would weld it also looks more professional as well. I will probably be selling my Jeep. Does your dash leak water on the floorboard of your jeep when it rains?

Changing out your Manifold its really not that bad. Especially on the 2.5L I did mine in about 1.5 hours. It would be a good time to upgrade to a header. You can get a Pacesetter out of the Jeep book for 199.00 with the extension pipe to the cat. The stock pipe is 2.0 in diameter and the Pacesetters is 2.5 which don't sound like alot but, it is. One tip though to you. If you do decide to replace it. Spary the two exhuast studs down really good with some WD 40. You should have one on your front lower manifold and one on the lower rear manifold. The rest of the bolts shoudn't be a problum at all. One last thing to how bad is the leak? If it just a little you might try checking the tightness of your bolts. Mine started leaking along time ago and sure enough two bolts were even missing as well as the rest being loose to really loose. One more thing to before I bore you even more LOL. When you put your new one on start the bolts in center and work your way out. Especially when you go to tighten them. all your bolts except the two studs with nuts are 30ft and the studs with nuts are 20ft but they only need to be snug and a quarter turn more. You will also have to bring it to a muffler shop to get the end of the new extension pipe welded to the cat. Hope I didn't lose you are bored you to dealth. If you have any questions let me know.
