This is my 1986 IROC!
Check out my new wheels!

This is my 1986 IROC! It is an ongoing project, that is for sure. I bought this car for $2000.00 and pretty much all I got was the paint job. It had a worn out 305, with an aluminum intake, and a carter carb. That was pretty much it. The car has been converted to a manual T-5 trasmission. Here is what all I did to the motor:

1978 4 bolt main block, bored .030 over, hot-tanked. It is a 383 stroker, which is a 350 block and a 400 crank. Cat cast crank, Cat rods, Claimber hyper* pistons. I had the rotation assembly completely balanced. 400 Small block ATP flywheel, Sach's 11" Clutch, CAT 400 balancer. The heads are World Products cast-iron Sportsman II, with stainless steel 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust valves, Edelbrock springs, chromoly valve locks, Pro-Form 1.5 fully roller aluminum rockers. The cam is an Edelbrock Performer RPM, Edelbrock lifters, Manley Swedged-end pushrods. Has a Dyna-gear timing geardrive (loud)! Sportsman II high-rise aluminum intake, with a 750 Holley double pumper, Holley red fuel pump. MSD 6a ignition, ACCEL HEI SuperCoil, ACCEL 8.8 mm spark plug wires, Bosch Platnium Plugs. Summit Aluminum pulleys. Flaming polished aluminum tall valve covers, polished aluminum oil pan.
