This is my fully restored Turqouise 1955 Thunderbird and my Dusk Rose 1957 Thunderbird currently undergoing a frame-off restoration. The one pictured is identical and belongs to friend in San Francisco. See the progress pictures on the 57's webpage.. www.cardomain.com/ride/2201226 or click on link to the left.

The 55 has just been finished after a 4 year frame-off restoration. It has the original fully rebuilt 292 V8, rare factory 3 speed with overdrive, removable hardtop and soft top, and is finished in 1955 Thunderbird Blue. The 57 will be done summer of 07. It has the original fully rebuilt 312 V8, Fordomatic transmission, removable hardtop with porthole and soft top. It will be finished in 1957 Thunderbird Dusk Rose with all white interior. The first picture was taken at the Anchorage Park Strip show and shine 3 days after completion, August 6, 2005.

Gary Wild and his wife are driving forces behind the sucess of our local CTCI affliate, Classic Birds of Paradise. He is a wonderful guy, and my wife, MIa, simply adores him. YOUR THUNDERBIRDS are simply perfect, and I appreciate just how much you know about the restoration of these fine classic cars.

If I had larger than a normal 2-car garage, I'd sure move in a couple of beauties like yours. Two of the most sought-after and special colors, and truly wonderfully restored cars. Please enjoy my '55, perhaps as much as I appreciate your cars. Jobs well done, and Aloha from Hawaii.

Beautiful job and great looking photos of the process. I am Doing a Frame off myself, on a 1969 Galaxie convertible. Could you tell me a place I can find body to frame bushings? I can't seem to find Ford body bushings anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2362179
