In this next set of pics, I will show you Spoon Sport's Type One tuning workshop in Tokyo Japan.
This is the entrance of Type One. You cannot see how close the street is from the entrance though. Basically in Tokyo, space is a constraint so the Type One facility makes use of every space available as possible. We shall see in a while.
This Spoon tuned Civic SiRII is parked directly beside Type One building. Type One often buys good condition used Honda VTEC cars and for 'refresh program' and rebuilds them with Spoon parts and resell them at higher prices. Trust me, these Type One tuned cars are every bit worth the money. EG6 is still very popular in Japan.
Inside on the first floor, I saw a Civic Type R EK9 'refresh' car. This one was a no nonsense race base version with absolutely no electric windows, mirrors, aircon anything. It also had a B18C Spoon engine.
Next to the EK was a JDM Accord Euro R CL7 demo car. This Euro R has a 240bhp K20A engine and is fully decked out in full Spoon exterior parts.
On the left inside the shop is the main work area. A customer's S2000 is awaiting tuning. The DC2 is sitting under a lift which takes cars up to the 2nd floor area.
This customer's S2000 is standing on the steel lift that is above the DC2 in the above picture. Apperantly, this S2000 is owned by a rich Korean dude who often brings his car to the track. His S2000 is kitted out with Spoon's body kit.
Somewhere on the floor was an assortment of display of Spoon parts for sale. Here is the CL7 Euro R suspension parts.
On the other side of the 2nd floor is where the race cars are kept. You can see that the different Spoon race cleverly stored in a huge shelf above a customer's yellow DC2. The table behind the DC2 displays the rest of the Spoon range and some history items.
Sorry for the crappy pics. I took these pics with my mobile phone.
