I bought this 2000 Legacy GT Limited new in Timberline Green. I have over 135,000 miles on it now, mostly because it was my daily driver up until August 2007, when I picked up a 2005 WRX STi . For summer, the Legacy has 21lbs 17" x 7.5" Kazera bronze-painted wheels, which I used once on the rallycross course when the event got rained out (on right below). I upgraded the brake pads to Hawk HPS for a little more stopping power.

As of December 2007, I now have 18.5lbs 15" x 6" wheels with Winterforce tires for snow, dirt, and gravel. I'm keeping the stock 16" x 6.5" wheels in case I decide to get some used rally tires once I've done a few rallycrosses. For my first season, the Winterforces are doing just fine.

In January 2008, I installed Primitive Racing 3/16" front and rear skidplates. I added some Colin McRae tribute vinyl to the little rear side windows at the same time. The skidplates came in handy shortly after being installed.

I have 215/45R17 Goodyear Eagle F1-DS3 tires on the Kazera wheels, and they are fantastic. I have heard a lot of people complain about the suddenness in which the F1s break loose, but I have to say that mine give me plenty of warning, allowing me to still push a little harder when they first start squealing. Perhaps it is partially due to the sloppiness of the suspension. After breaking the front sway bar off a little before 100k miles, I decided it was a lot more fun to drive with the amazing turn-in and wild ride through the countryside it provides.

Nice to see you really drive your car hard! Looks like you need some bigger swaybars! Check out my Legacy wagon when you get a chance. I've had suspension work that really helps control body roll. Lightweight wheels really help too. I'm sure you know all about unsprung weight. I'm surprised you still have stock (heavy) wheels on your car...
