This 1972 Ranchero 500 was a gift from my Husband for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. He was going to buy me a Ruby ring but I chose the truck instead. I will post a lot of photos here. This truck is a Q vin code vehicle. It was one of 283 Ranchero 500's built in 1972 with the 351 4V CJ and factory four speed. We just recently rebuilt the motor

this 351CJ has been bored 40 over, it has a Lunati solid lift race cam, 541 int & 559 exh lift,it has Roller Rockers, Edelbroch Performer manifold with a Holley 750cfm carb., Speed pro flat top pistons, Hooker Headers, Race ready exhaust cutouts for fast uncorking, The four speed Toploader was rebuilt 2 years ago. The Paint is PPG 1996 Ford Mustang Laser Red Pearl and it was painted in 2000.

Thank you for checking out my truck and check back frequently as this site WILL change.

We attended 23 Car Shows and Benefits this year. Although it hasn't taken a lot of trophies, it has brought a lot of smiles.
Below are shots from some of the shows.

The children in the above pictures were from some benefits we did...these babies have Luekemia and the money raised was to help the families...If I owned a Rolls Royce they could still sit in it...I never keep the kids or anyone else for that fact, from sitting in my truck. Growing up I learned not to touch, but I feel if you don't let the younger generation enjoy your hotrods, they will not survive.

Hey Red I see the pic of your fresh paint and it looks great. I am getting ready to paint mine. It's been a while since i have sprayed. Do you have any tips an what brand of paint? How did you get that shine? I'm hoping your tip is low cost. Thanks rcdtim@hotmail.com
