After the (temperary) loss of my Cadillac to an overheat, I needed a new car. I wanted something with a similar ride to the venerable Caddy, so I started looking for low-mileage Grand Marquis'. The first dealership had none, so I wound up test-driving a Concorde. I didn't even have any Chryslers on my list. I pretty much took the test drive to keep the trip to the dealership from being a waste of time.
The car was awesome. It drove smoothly, it had just the feel I was looking for, and it was fairly quick (compared to the Caddy, anyway). The only problem? It had Chrysler's POS 2.7L V6. The hunt was on again, this time for Concordes. I first saw a Concorde in black at another dealership (another 2.7), and I absolutely had to have that color.
Finally, a few weeks later, I found the car that would be mine. It hadn't turned up in my AutoTrader search the day before, but there it was. Just delivered. I headed over to the dealership immediately for a test drive. The car had been traded in just the day before. It still had pine needles and dirt on the interior from the previous owner. I was happy with that; the dealer hadn't had the time to hide any flaws (there were none).
The test drive was amazing. It rode even better than the first Concorde I'd driven, and it has the snappy 3.5L (234hp version). Not as powerful as the high-po 3.5L, but it carries lower insurance rates and gets better mileage. The car was fantastic, and I put a deposit on it right away.
A loan request and 4 days later, and I took possession of the car. Here's my first picture, from before I even put my plates on it:

Sexy.
To be done:
-Factory chrome trim around windows
-Chrysler badges on C pillar
-Chrysler-emblem interior carpeting
I'll take pictures on request, just let me know what you'd like to see.
