I Sadly No Longer Own This Car. :( I had to sell it, because I couldnt afford to drive it, along with my other car and truck, and had nowhere to store it. I know, I know.. it sucks royal navy beans.

PAGE 3 IS A LIST OF THINGS THAT YOU SHOULD TAKE OUT OF THE CAR OR REPLACE BEFORE THEY BREAK!!

Also look at my other cars!

I bought a black 1976 Mustang II Ghia awhile back;

310GX's 1976 Ford Mustang

with the optional factory 302 V8

AC (removed), PS, PB, AT, and original 13" Rallye Rims.

Heres the pics I have of it as of the 13th.

It had almost brand new tires, (until I started frying the rears) and new brakes. From the pictures above, you can see that the interior on this thing is almost perfect. The front leather seats show very minimal wear. The rear leather seats are pristine. All of the plastics are intact with the exception of the ceiling cover on the lid of the center console storage box, and the stereo slot, which someone gladly messed up instead of mounting below the dash.

It had the original Factory 302 at one point in time, but was swapped for an earlier version packing alot more power. This motor was rebuilt to the best of my knowledge about 5 years ago. The car itself has approximately 124000 miles on it. The only rust on the car is on the left rear kick panel below the body molding. A spot smaller than 1/2 of a dollar bill. It has new exhaust from the "resonators" back, and a decent (but not nearly loud enough) muffler from midas.

The car was "totaled" after an accident which, you can also see in the pics above, rendered the front clip out of alignment. Ive managed to straighten it out almost all the way, and will have it completely straight this summer. Original enamel paint is a bit weak, but buffs out nicely, and if kept on top of, looks almost new. Sources have told me that the steering gears need replacing, but the only thing I can think that needs to be replaced is maybe the Power steering pump. There was an early recall on this year of Mustang II for the gear boxes and I have the recall number here (1976 Ford Mustang II Ghia NHTSA Recall ID Number: 76V046000). I was thinkin about maybe tryin to do something with it, but I doubt it would get me anywhere hehe.

After that, I need to do some maintenance on the auto tranny. When cold, it tends to take its sweet time shifting into any forward gear, and also likes to slip out when barely moving. After it is warm, it only does the first.

If you havent already noticed... how many mustangs do you see (even on car domain) that have the original chrome trunk rack? Thats what I thought... there are very very few left out there with the trunk rack. As it stands, only about 38000 of these V8 Ghia's were made and as far as my knowledge goes, there is only 1 other like mine on this website. The rack is rusting on one of the bars, but is almost perfect otherwise.

... It runs good, but needs a carb, and trans. However, carb, and trans problems or not, this sucker still lights tires like it was new.

I don't know how new you are to mustang II's but they can be a little hard to keep up without good knowledge and sources. Here are some sites to help you. www.mustangii.net www.mustangii.org and www.stangnet.com check out the forums then the mustang II forum and www.ebaymotors.com type in "mustang ii". The guys on stangnet have been great help! I have been able to find a replacement gas cap, window glass and hinges! I would be lost without some of these sources.
