1998 Saleen S281 Mustang Cobra Speedster, s/n 98-0136
This particular vehicle is number 136 of 184 Saleen S281 Mustangs produced by Saleen Performance in the 1998 model year. Of that total only 35 were based on the SVT Mustang Cobra; 14 coupes & 21 convertibles. This Mustang Cobra was assembled at Ford?s Dearborn Assembly Plant on March 26, 1998 & converted at Saleen Performance?s Irvine facility on August 14, 1998. It was originally delivered to Bob Sight Ford in Lee?s Summit, Missouri. I purchased it on July 28, 2005 from Woods Auto Gallery in Springfield, Missouri who was selling it for the original owner. The actual miles on the vehicle at the time of my purchase were 4,836.
